So what's new? I hear you say. How about ten new sports to get your remote hand flinching? The most addictive addition has to be Frisbee. You use your Wii Remote as the Frisbee (don't let go though - that's a recipe for a broken TV) and you must get the right power and direction to steer it into the points zones, where a dog will catch it. It's fantastic when it works, but embarrassing when it doesn't. It can go very wrong. We'll never forget the disgusted look our dog gave us when we threw his Frisbee in completely the wrong direction!
Another great debutant is Basketball. You raise the Remote to make your character jump, and then lower your wrist to shoot the ball at the hoop. Its feels so smooth and makes you wonder how no one else though about it before - prepare for a wave of basketball games in the future! Swordplay is also a welcome newbie, in which you must slice your opponent off a platform. This can be frustrating though, as it's the type of game your girlfriend could kick your backside at! The other sports available are Archery, Wakeboarding, Table Tennis, Power Cruising, Canoeing, Cycling and Air Sports.

Air Sports actually features three different games within a single selection. You have Sky Diving, where you must link hands with fellow divers and get some good pictures (the game's intro sequence gives you an early taste of this mode). There's also Dogfight, where you are in a Biplane shoot your other opponents down, and then finally, there's Island Flyover, where you fly around the Wii Sports Resort Island, locating points of interest by flying through signs on them. This is so fun and addictive. Here, you can also go multiplayer and chase each other around the island, shooting at balloons attached to your opponents air craft.
Wii Sports Resort has so much to offer. It will take ages to get old, as you can unlock new game modes and difficulties. Everything about it is right and exactly what we hoped for - Nintendo have done it again. Just when we thought they couldn't possible do any more to push the boundaries of innovation, they go and prove us wrong. In a nut shell, if you have a Wii you must get this game.
