
Metaio, key developers in the AR sector are to announced the release of Unifeye, the mobile augmented reality SDK. A ground breaking demo for the Android platform will be revealed in cooperation with Sony Ericsson at the Mobile World Congress 2010 which demonstrates the companies direction as an industry leader in AR technology.
The Unifeye Mobile SDK is the world's first mobile kit which allows the creating of AR applications and features the latest image recognition technology, supporting all major mobile platforms. 3D rendering for animations with real time interactions and optimised components for mobile hardware will all come as standard in this state of the art commodity. By using the software you will be able to "create fascinating marketing experiences, intuitive information design, mobile augmented reality games or innovative retail solutions," according to the companies press release.
The release also adds, "Based on the proven AR platform Unifeye by Metaio it is possible to easily develop and deploy solutions at the interface between the real and virtual world." The companies speech at the MWC 2010 will be made on Wednesday 17th February and will, "Take a visionary look into the services and applications that mobile communication will provide in 10 years time and the impact they will have on the way we live and communicate in 2020."
