16-12-11: It seems that Sony's new Vita is going to be tied to just one single PSN account.
We were told initially that this would be the case. However, a rep for Sony then said that wasn't the case, PSN accounts would be tied to memory cards, not the actual console.
But it turns out that particular rep was wrong and Sony's original statement was in fact true afterall!
"[The] PSN account is tied to the hardware and the memory card, not just the card," a new rep told Wired, "which means that if a second person is using your Vita, it's not just a case of switching out memory cards, it's clearing out all of your saved data on the Vita itself when you do the factory reset...in other words, PlayStation Vita is intended to be played by only one user."
Not a brilliant move, Sony.
