Scientists Developing QD-TV
A TV as flexible and thin as a sheet of paper.

13-12-11: Recently, it has all been about 3D TV, but according to reports, QD-TV is to be the next big thing.

British scientists are said to have developed 'quantum dots', special light-emitting crystals and with these, they are able to make ultra-thin TV's.
These can then be printed on to plastic sheets, creating a paper-thin display.

These televisions are set to first appear by the end of next year, portable versions that can be carried around, are also planned, but this will take at least three more years.
