17-01-12: Mercedes-Benz have showcased their Dynamic & Intuitive Control Experience (DICE) at CES this year.

Mercedes DICE is a dashboard that works with gesture-based controls. This then lets the driver scroll, select and control lots of different functions, such as skipping music and messaging friends.

Not only this, but with the use of augmented reality, real-time information is digitally incorporated on to the windshield. Pretty high tech stuff.

However, it is not perfect and a Mercedes executive has said that it won't be available for quite some time, in fact, it probably won't be released for another 20 years. So for now it is just something to look forward to.
