BBC To Broadcast First 3D Film.
On New Years Day.
22-12-11: On New Years Day, the BBC is going to broadcast its first 3D film, StreetDance 3D.
The film sees a dance crew in London, who are training for the UK Street Dance Championships, having to work with ballet dancers and overcome their differences.
This follows the success of Strictly Come Dancing in 3D and marks the start of yet more 3D broadcasting. They are set to broadcast the Wimbledon Tennis Championships and London Olympics in 3D in 2012.
Catch StreetDance 3D at 18:25 on New Year's Day on the BBC HD Channel.
